Licensing and regulation
Company WAYFORPAY s.r.o. is a license holder of the Czech National Bank and is regulated by the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic. At the same time we are registered with the IRS, our GIIN is 5SQQQY.99999.SL.203.
We are an electronic money issuer authorized to provide payment services. Our clients\' funds are deposited in separate accounts with a special regime and are insured up to EUR 100,000 in accordance with the Czech legal system.
Risk prevention
We apply regular manual and automated control mechanisms to manage risks and minimize their impact. The effectiveness of the control system is verified within the internal control system. We systematically prevent attempts to legalize the proceeds of crime by applying a system of internal policies and internal AML rules. We also protect our clients against fraudulent payments and possible damages.
Safety first
3D secure verification of every transaction is a matter of course. We are PCI DSS certified according to the strictest international safety regulations. In addition, we have our own Anti-fraud system, which, based on the use of mathematical, statistical and behavioral models, minimizes the possibility of misuse of a payment card.
WAYFORPAY complies with worldwide standards and meets the strictest security requirements of MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by VISA, as defined by the VISA and MasterCard card associations. These standards are referred to as 3D Secure and ensure maximum payment security. You can rest assured that we do our best to secure card payments via WAYFORPAY. Our payment gateway complies with the international 3D Secure v.2 standard, we never share sensitive data with e-shops. We are also PCI DSS certified according to the strictest international safety regulations. PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a set of security standards designed to prevent credit card holder data from leaking.
The payment gateway runs on a secure HTTPS protocol. When paying, all information transmitted between the parties is always encrypted with 128-bit SSL / TLS. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) are cryptographic protocols that enable secure data transfer over the public Internet. We use the latest TLS 1.2 protocol because of the requirement placed on us by the PCI DSS security standard.
All data processes are performed on secure servers that meet the highest requirements in accordance with the requirements of card associations and PCI DSS.
